Greytown Little Theatre is a thriving studio-sized, black-box creative space that caters to the arts and community groups in South Wairarapa. 


Our new theatre space Studio 73 is located amid the hustle and bustle of central Greytown at 73 Main Street.

We are currently fundraising to be able to complete the Studio 73 upgrade. Please check out our DONOR page if you would like more information or would like to support our fundraising efforts.

Studio 73 offers a range of community and professional theatre, music, and dance events from solo through to ensemble shows that cater to a wide range of ages. 

Studio 73 is a hub for other community groups who hire the venue for classes such as Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Belly Dancing, Markets, Art displays and other activities.

Greytown Little Theatre has a strong history of staging high quality productions since 1921 which is a tradition we proudly continue to the present day. 

Greytown Little Theatre Society Incorporated is a registered Charitable Trust, number CC34556


Greytown Little Theatre's annual scholarship is awarded to a student member who has shown a passion for theatre arts and also made a significant contribution of their time and effort within our organisation.  To be eligible the student must be a financial member of Greytown Little Theatre and show a desire to further their theatre education.  Since 2017 our Scholarship has provided funding towards costs associated with attending the annual National Youth Drama School (NYDS)  in Havelock North.
